The cure for anything is salt water — sweat, tears, or the sea. — Isak Dinesen.
If you're carrying the weight of current events, take a moment now to breathe and embrace beauty and the peace of the world.

Tim and I enjoy exploring the dozens of beautiful beaches within a 30-minute drive from our home. Unlike the famous resort beaches on the south shore of Portugal (The Algarve), most beaches in our central region are undeveloped. Not a building in sight. All are clean, with many holding blue flag status.
We send you a few images from this beautiful corner of the world so you can pause, breathe, and reconnect with a sense of peace.

A café near a beach sells potted herbs with beach poems:
If you come to Gold Beach
Bring a smile in your heart. If you come in a bad mood, You will miss half the fun.
I hope these images give you some moments of peace, wherever you are.
You might say that I´m a dreamer, but I´m not the only one... Love,
Penelope
Thank you, Penelope and Tim, for extending your peace to all of us and for the delightful pics!
Love and blessings! David and Miriam
We think of both of you often and enjoy reading your posts. The one today on Peace on a Beach is perfect as a counter to the dreadful state of our nation right now. It is important to breathe in peace and let nature calm our battered soul. Thank you. Jean Goode
